How ScoraSong scores songs

You score each song from 0 to 10 on six dimensions. ScoraSong combines them with fixed weights into one overall score, so a song you can't stop replaying counts for more than one with great production you'll never hear twice.

The weights

Overall score = melody × 0.25 + catchiness × 0.20 + replay value × 0.20 + enjoyment × 0.15 + lyrics × 0.10 + production × 0.10.

Why six dimensions?

A single star rating hides why you like something. With six scores, two songs rated 8.0 can look completely different, and comparing taste with a friend can show whether you agree on the music itself or just on the verdict.
